The Foundation

Our foundation is a story of resilience and growth. Born and raised in rural Alabama, I navigated a chaotic childhood filled with challenges and instability. Facing a mix of self-fabricated hurdles and a lack of guidance, I was a loose cannon, struggling with low self-esteem and no direction.

Despite these challenges, I discovered a natural talent for mechanics and construction, coupled with a vivid imagination and creativity. This unique blend fueled my ability to “make it what it ain’t,” turning obstacles into opportunities for survival.

Fast forward to 33, I began to explore artistic abilities, by using painting as a coping mechanism for the stress and turmoil in life. Through the depths of mental health struggles, including anxiety and depression- solace in art was found, which became a vital lifeline in the years to come. With music as a core coping mechanism established as a child, painting went hand in hand.

By 37, after a commitment to self-discovery and a newfound understanding of my faith, I developed a mantra: “Adapt, Understand, Apply, Overcome, and Conquer. Rinse and repeat”. This guiding principle helped peel back the layers of trauma to reveal the artistic talent had always been present but had long been buried by the chaos.

At 40 with my best friend who just happens to be my wife, Last Strike Toggery & Branding Co. launched in 2024. A company driven by a desire to offer guidance and opportunity to those who feel lost. Our vision is to create a platform for talented individuals to showcase their work and make their mark on the world. With a strong emphasis on community, Last Strike aims to fill the gaps and build bridges for artists seeking direction and support.

My journey is a testament to the power of resilience, creativity, and the relentless pursuit of purpose rooted in faith. I am dedicated to transforming a past into a brighter future for those who just need a little opportunity. Burn the box to the last strike, then buy another box- that's the name of the game.
